Tour: "The Route of Hope for Children and a Delicious Memelada"
¡Bienvenidos a una experiencia única que combina el conocimiento, la esperanza y la deliciosa cultura culinaria de Oaxaca! Este tour especial, "La Ruta de la Esperanza de los Niños y una Rica Memelada," te sumergirá en el corazón del trabajo altruista del Centro de Esperanza.
The Route:
Casa Jodi - Downtown Oaxaca:
We will start at Casa Jodi, located in Downtown Oaxaca. Here, our staff will greet you and guide you on a tour of the house, explaining everybody's role and explaining how help is provided to the children. Discover how Casa Jodi is a place of hope and growth for the little ones.
Visit the Neighborhoods:
We will board a private vehicle with the staff of the Centro de Esperanza and we will go to one or two neighborhoods where some of the children benefiting from the program live. This part of the tour will allow you to gain a closer understanding of the living conditions and reality of the communities that the Centro de Esperanza supports.
Casa Emilie - Municipality of Xoxocotlán:
We will arrive at Casa Emilie, the second location of the Centro de la Esperanza in the municipality of Xoxocotlán. Here, some beneficiaries will share their testimonies, explaining how the Centro de la Esperanza has positively impacted their lives. It will be a moving opportunity to hear real stories of improvement and hope.
Oaxacan Memelas Workshop:
¡Prepárate para una experiencia culinaria inolvidable! Junto con las mamás y los estudiantes, aprenderás a hacer auténticas "memelas oaxaqueñas". Este platillo tradicional será preparado con amor y sabiduría local. Después de la preparación, todos disfrutarán de una degustación de memelas acompañadas de una deliciosa memelada.
This tour will not only give you a deep insight into the positive impact of the Centro de la Esperanza on children's lives, but it will also immerse you in the authentic culinary culture of Oaxaca.
